The Spring Village Seventh Day Church Of God is located in the eastern section of the Village. It is also known as “Zion” church. It may have gotten the name because of the energy within worship services, as one can be literally “taken to Zion and back” from the fire of their exhilarating worship experience.
The church started about thirty years ago from meeting in homes then relocated to a small wooden shack at the location shown above. It now boasts a permanent structure, which have been built within the last decade. Zion church continues to provide for the spiritual needs of the community, as it remains one of various denominations within the Village.
